Year 5’s Akai stunned his rivals with a famous victory at Croydon’s prestigious interschool cross country competition. Running against 180 other competitors from across the region in the warm sunshine at Lloyd Park, he stormed to the front at the start of the race and never allowed his lead to slip. Showing fantastic determination and poise, Akai admitted he was confident of the win prior to the race after putting in a considerable amount of training.
Elsewhere, Chloe in Year 6 achieved a top 20 finish in her race whilst another 12 competitors from EPS also put in their best efforts. Congratulations to everyone who took part!
