Camp Atwood update
I am writing in my office having had a super day with Year 4 at the ever popular ‘Camp Atwood’, before popping back out on the field to sleep in my tent.
Camp Atwood sees Year 4 pupils spend one night under canvas having taken part in a wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities. We believe that it is important to enable the children spend at least one night sleeping under the stars as this is a rite of passage that some may never repeat again in their lives.
Much fun was had at the camp fire, with toasting marshmallows for s ‘mores and signing camp songs and generally playing fun games.
We are all hoping that the parakeets do not wake us up too early tomorrow.
