Year 3 had the fantastic opportunity to visit South Norwood library! Luckily, the sun was on full display for us as we walked to the library. Sue, the librarian gave the children an informative talk about how the books are organised, how to borrow books and the different genres that are stocked in the library. The children enjoyed looking around and reading some books. They even spotted some familiar books that we have at school!
All of the children that signed up to get a library card, received theirs on the day and even got to use them to borrow a book! We really enjoyed the day and I’m sure South Norwood library will now be very busy and library cards will be in full swing!
