This week we have been thinking about how to show understanding – being aware of other people’s feelings, being tolerant and forgiving. We spent time thinking about the importance of understanding and the positive effects it brings in our lives and for those around us. This week we have been trying to ensure ewe show understanding by listening to what people say, considering the feelings of others, understanding the impact of our words and actions on others and treating others the way we would like to be treated.
Y5 are off to the Tower of London today. We will update the website with a news story next week. Our Year 6s had an amazing time supporting KS1 and EYFS classes during their Sports Day today, modelling the activities and showing they care by cheering the children on during their events. The Year 6s are also busy preparing for their end of year performance, ‘School Daze’ next Wednesday – we can’t wait to watch!
Well done to our rainbow winners this week who went above and beyond, demonstrating Pegasus values and applying their BLP skills when learning.
Our Meet the teacher Y3 transition meeting for Year 2 parents is happening on Thursday 14th July. A copy of the letter can be seen here

Well done to Kieran who has made impressive progress in his Maths this year. It’s great to see your new-found confidence Kieran; keep up the effort and dedication to improvement! Our Word Wizard winner this week was Tabitha. She used the word melancholy in a sentence and incorporated last week’s word of the week too! Tabby took home a Word Wizard rosette for her fantastic use of vocabulary. Remember to get your entries in before 9:00am on Monday for a chance to win.
