On Monday 9th December, Year 5 and 6 members of the upper school choir visited Acacia Care Centre. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring their energy, beautiful voices, and festive cheer to the residents. As the children sang renditions of Christmas songs which included ‘Silver Bells’, ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ and ‘Feliz Navidad’, the audience smiled and joined in. Both the members of staff and residents were wowed by their voices and a few were even moved to tears. We are so proud of the children, not only for their performance and exceptional behaviour during this visit, but also for the care and maturity that they displayed and expressed in their interactions with the residents.
