Thank you to all the parents that joined us for the Christmas performance. This week, we were wowed by Year 5, who told the Christian Christmas story through drama using a variety of traditional and modern carols. The performance was fun and entertaining. We were particularly impressed with the children’s ability to tell a story expressively – they really enlivened the retelling, all children were invested in the performance whether they were a recurring character or had one line to deliver. This is a tribute to hard work of the Year 5 class teachers’ teaching of prosody during reading lessons. The children projected their voices when delivering their lines.
A big thank you to the adults who worked hard to ensure the children performed well. Thank you to Ms Pumphrey, Miss Hassan, Mrs Yeboah, Mrs Joshi, Ms Mangan and Ms Habib for their efforts.
