Year 3 has had a fantastic first week back to the summer term. We’ve loved all the opportunities to get stuck in and learn practically. We kicked the week off with a return to forest school and learning (safely) how to light our own campfires. It wasn’t as straightforward as we first thought and we had to work as a team to be successful. We were all thrilled when we finally got the sparks from our flint to catch alight.
In maths, we started our new topic of measurement and have been getting hands-on with the rulers and the meter sticks to learn how to convert our measurements into different units. We even got the chance to size up our friends!
We hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend and look forward to having another successful week.
