In Year 1 we have been counting in 2s 5s and 10s. We began by making groups practically using coins, dienes, cubes and bead strings. Then, we moved to spotting patterns and making links such as ‘all multiples of 2 are even’ and ‘when we count in 10s the ones stays the same.’ Here are some pictures of our hard work!
