This morning, we started the day with a super assembly from Indigo Class. Year 1 produced an amazing performance of the poem ‘ The Sound Collector’ which they have been studying in their English lessons. We were also treated to two other poetry performances. Indigo Class performed with excellent prosody, actions and clarity. They had also made fantastic hats to wear that represented each of the sounds that were collected in the poem. Thank you to all our parents and carers who were able to join us for assembly this morning. The children were so happy to have such a great audience. A big thank you also to Miss Rutter for all her hard work preparing the children for their assembly.
