We had a brilliant start to the morning at Cypress Lower today thanks to Green Class and their fabulous assembly. The hall was packed with parents and carers who had come to watch!
The assembly began with some performance poetry which included ‘The Sound Collector’ and ‘Now We Are Six’. The children include actions and used excellent prosody. To hear their performance of ‘The Sound Collector’, click on the link below.
Green Class then followed this with a retelling of ‘Jack and the Flum Flum Tree’. The children had worked so hard to memorise the story and produced a super choral performance. We were all very impressed with their acting skills and costumes also. Green Class then ended the assembly by singining ‘Count On Me’ and ‘Three Little Birds’.
We are so proud of Green Class. They worked brilliantly as a team to produce a fantastic assembly. A huge thank you also to Mrs Dutton and the Green Class Teaching Assistants for all your hard work and support in preparing the children for the assembly.
