We began the day at Cypress Lower today with a wonderful assembly from Blue Class.
In their English lessons, Blue Class have been learning all about the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ The children produced an excellent retelling of the story and were so confident when acting and performing their lines. During the retelling, the children made links to their science knowledge and explained why the different materials the pigs chose might be good for building a house.
Blue Class also sang ‘Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Wolf’ and performed a very complicated rap in role as the pigs and wolves. We ended the assembly with a dance party at the house of bricks where all of the pigs were celebrating the departure of the wolf. The children showed some excellent moves when dancing to ‘Can’t stop the feeling’ as you can see in the video below.
Well done Blue Class on an amazing assembly! We are so proud of you. A big thank you to Ms Balhadere and Mrs Kan for all your hard work preparing the assembly with the children.
Thank you to all our parents and carers who attended and were so encouraging to all the children. We couldn’t have asked for a better audience.
