After reading the book ‘Mama Panya’s Pancakes’ we designed our own pancakes using our favourite fruits from our tasting session. In our English lesson, we looked at the pancake recipe we were going to use. When writing our set of instructions, we needed to ensure the steps were in the correct order. In DT, we made our pancakes in the cooking room. We also used our measuring skills to measure out the ingredients. We had lots of fun and our finished pancakes were delicious. After the lesson, we evaluated our pancakes, and many of us decided if we made them again, we would try different fruit toppings.
