On Tuesday, Year 1 had lots of fun learning about old and new toys. The session was hosted by Mrs Jenkins and to start with she told us all about what life was like in the past. Throughout the morning, we were shown many old and new toys, and found out how they worked. During the session, we discovered many new and exciting facts about the toys. We also compared the size of the toys, and discussed the materials they were made from. This linked with our science topic of ‘Materials’. Year 1 enjoyed handling the toys and exploring how to play with them. Many of the toys, we had never seen before! It was a really fun session and we would like to thank Mrs Jenkins for a great morning.
