Wow! Brigstock’s Museum looked absolutely AMAZING today! The children have worked so hard to produce such wonderful written work, art work and DT pieces. Across the school the children have produced 3D Steam trains, Canopic Jars, Death Masks, Bridges, Viking Dragon Heads, Roman Shields, 3D Monsters, Tudor Houses and Toys. The standard of work is just unbelievable. Well done to all of the children and staff.
We have been visited by Henry VIII and a Chinese Dragon today- this was a particular highlight.
Throughout the day, each class has had an opportunity to tour the school and visit each class, seeing the beautiful display of work and having an opportunity to taste some authentic food linked to a time in History. Everyone got to visit the following zones of the Museum.
Monster Land in Reception
Toy Land in Year 1
Tudor Zone in Year 2
The Victorians in Year 3
The Romans in Year 4
The Vikings in Year 5
The Egyptians in Year 6
Thank you very much to all of the parents that were able to visit the Museum. I’m sure you are just as proud as I am. Well done Team Brigstock! (a few photographs are attached).
