It was a real pleasure to watch Ms Hall’s send off from Brigstock today. I can remember when she took her first class over to what was then a building site and let the children make handprints in the fresh plaster (very safely!). Over the intevening years, the school has grown with her into a very independent, successful, one form entry annex to the main Whitehorse Schools, and it has done so much because of the inclusive, family ethos that Ms Hall has created there with her staff, pupils and parents. We were treated to a range of songs, poems and speeches and, most notably, a whole school rendition of the ‘Candy’ dance (because this is the Pegasus staff dance!). Ms Hall is going on to Headship at Whitehorse Infant School and Briggy will pass into very safe hands with Mrs Stephenson-Tye. But Ms Hall will be very much missed there and, this afternoon, her children and staff showed her just how much.
