A couple of weeks ago, Olympic Bronze medallist Victoria Ohuruogu visited Ecclesbourne for an inspiring assembly and a fun-filled morning of athletics. As part of her visit, we asked our children and their families to raise money to improve our sports equipment at EPS. We have been totally overwhelmed with everyone’s efforts and we’re pleased to announce that over £1500 has been raised! A special mention to our top three fundraisers: Cade in Astronauts, Lottie in Stars and Joshua H in Planets.
All of our fundraisers were presented with their certificates and prizes in assembly this morning. We are so proud of their efforts and look forward to seeing some new playground and athletics equipment arriving in school soon. Well done!
