Our children had a fantastic day at the Horniman Museum. As part our thematic topic ‘Africa’, they have deepened their knowledge on Ghana and the nomadic life of the Masai people in East Africa. They loved exploring the artefacts displayed on the stalls of an African market. Lots of opportunities to handle objects including clothing, accessories, animals hides, toys and musical instruments. After all that excitement, they enjoyed a relaxing time in the gardens and practised making some observational drawings of a range of plants. A big thank you to our parent helpers, for making this day a memorable one!
