Year one had a great experience at the library this week. On their way, they made careful observations of the main geographical features and will use them later on in class to draw a map of their route. During their time at the library, the children enjoyed browsing through the huge selection of books before listening and joining in with the librarian expressive reading. This library is an excellent and free activity to do with your children during the half term and they have special story times! Like Thornton Heath library it is part of Croydon libraries and once a member, you will be able to borrow books from any library in Croydon.
