Today, reception had a very exciting visit from a special scientist called, Professor Bubbleworks!

To promote reading for pleasure, Whitehorse infant and junior schools have teamed up and created a ‘reading buddy’ session once a week. 

Happy New Year to all of our children and families as we come back to a frosty start. 

The Eco Schools team has been out and about ensuring that we are taking every opportunity to look after our environment. 

It has been a busy four days in the run up to the Christmas after what has been a very long term. 

This week has been a very busy week celebrating amazing achievements over this half term!

After what has seemed a particularly long term, I am pleased to say that we have finally made it to the Christmas break. 

We have had a great run up to Christmas and have had lots of fun making decorations and biscuits to eat.

On Thursday, the whole school enjoyed a riotous performance of Treasure Island. 

KS1 wowed packed audiences at their Nativity performances this year. Their performance of ‘It’s a Party’ was all-singing, all-dancing and the children had such a fabulous time showing their families what they have been working on.

Today our children took part in one of two workshops run by Rock Steady Music School.

Two years ago junior children from Whitehorse Manor-Brigstock site and Eccelsbourne took part in the Green Project at Bensham allotments.
