Today, the Tudor children of Ecclesbourne Court received a very special visit from King Henry VIII. They were well-prepared to greet their king appropriately, having spent time perfecting their bows and curtsies.
King Henry spoke to the children about his life, wives and pastimes and they had the chance to ask him their questions. King Henry was very impressed with the effort the children made to wear their best Tudor clothing and remember their manners when speaking to their king.
The children returned to their classrooms to continue working on their Tudor houses.
