Little Ecclesbourne children have been chasing the Gingerbread Man in and out of their classroom. They have loved listening to the story, learning songs and actions. They developed their cutting skills when making stick puppets of the characters from the story, to re enact the Gingerbread Man’s adventures. We also decided to make our own Gingerbread Men. The children mixed, rolled and cut out their own biscuits. We talked about how the ingredients change when they are combined and cooked. Luckily, our biscuits didn’t get the chance to run away! They were so delicious.
