In Literacy, the children are currently studying the text ‘Wolf Brother’ by Michelle Paver. ‘Wolf Brother’ takes place six thousand years ago during the Middle Stone Age, and tells the story of twelve-year-old Torak, a boy who very early on in the text loses his father to the attack of a demon bear.
As part of their writing, the children have created heart-wrenching letters, written in the role of Torak, to his father in the spirit world.
