On Thursday, Year 6 had the privilege of welcoming Shakespeare Rewired to Cypress for an exciting and immersive learning experience.
As part of their studies on Macbeth this half-term, the students had the opportunity to retell the play in a dynamic and interactive way. The performance captivated the entire audience, breaking down the complexities of the plot in an engaging and accessible manner.
Beyond exploring the storyline, the session also delved into the emotional and psychological challenges faced by the characters, encouraging students to reflect on alternative choices and their consequences. This not only deepened their understanding of Shakespeare’s work but also provided a valuable PSHE lesson.
