World Maths Day was an exciting and action-packed celebration, filled with engaging activities that brought out the best in both students and staff. The day included a version of the 1% Club, where everyone was challenged to think critically and creatively. The students turned into detectives, solving puzzles and unraveling mysteries, while the art activities allowed them to express their mathematical minds through creative designs. Maths was also brought to life in PE, as students worked together to solve challenges while staying active. A thrilling scavenger hunt had lower KS2 searching for clues, and the year 6 children ran a very busy and vibrant tuck shop that kept the energy high throughout the day. The grand finale was a musical assembly celebrating our times tables, leaving everyone singing and dancing with joy. A huge thank you to the parents for their fantastic support—dressing up and encouraging their children to visit the tuck shop, thank you to the children for showcasing their incredible maths skills and a special thank you to all of the staff for their unwavering dedication to helping our students grow into confident and capable mathematicians. It was truly a day to remember!
