Today the three rock bands who have been working hard with the Rock Steady teacher this term gave their first performances, rocking out in the hall to thunderous applause.
The Burger Sauce Band wowed with ‘We Will Rock You’, Horrific Sharks entertained with ‘Shotgun’ and The Furious People impressed with ‘Seven Nation Army’. It was so impressive to see children of all ages performing in sync on electric guitars, bass guitars, drums and keyboards, not to mention the brilliant vocalists who showed great courage singing solo or in pairs. It was clear the children had worked so hard to learn their parts and were proud to showcase their efforts.
The crowd loved it! We can’t wait to see what our budding rock stars will be able to do once they’ve had another term’s practice!
