CYP Upper: Take a Sneaky Peek at our Museum Week!

Year 2 have been reading the peculiar story of The Twits by Roald Dahl.
What a fantastic final week of half-term we have had in Little Cypress!
The Walk to the Moon Competition challenged the children to, wherever possible, walk, cycle or scooter to school (even walking from the bus stop counted), which was recorded every Wednesday for a month.
In our final assembly of this half term, we had a special assembly for our Gold Award champions.
This week has been ‘Thematic Week’ and children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have been busy transforming their classrooms into museums.
Y5 have been super busy this week, by diving deep into the Viking world.
This week we have been learning about Chinese New Year! This is how you say “Happy New Year!”

January always seems to be the longest month, but we have been enjoying ourselves as usual in Little Cypress.
This week we have continued thinking about ‘reciprocity’ and in particular, listening and speaking in pairs or a group.
