Last Friday we were all singing in the rain as Sports Day continued despite the Summer showers. In the morning we saw Nursery and Reception bouncing, running and balancing their way around the field as they all had a go at the exciting activities. In the afternoon it was time for Year 1 and Year 2 to showcase their sporting skills. We saw some amazing perseverance from children as they kept going, even when they found some of the sporting activities tricky. All children went home with a special sticker, as everyone’s a winner at the Cypress Lower Sports Day!
We had a brilliant turnout from parents, carers and family members today, who cheered the children on and very enthusiastically participated in the parent tug of war.
