We were treated to a wonderfully entertaining assembly all about the future of the rainforest led by Willow Class this morning. They explained the current global climate issues and how deforestation of the rainforests have exacerbated this crisis. They did this through expressive acting supported by interesting and at times, concerning facts and figures illustrating how quickly our rainforests are shrinking and the impact this has on the habitats of animals and the lives of tribes that live there.
They finished the assembly with a beautiful rendition of ‘What a Wonderful World’ by Louis Armstrong.
Thank you to Mrs Yeboah and Mrs Habib for supporting the children to deliver their assembly today.
