We began the day at Cypress Lower today with a lovely assembly from Blue Class. The assembly was all about winter. We were treated to some excellent performance poetry where the children made good use of their prosody skills and actions. Everyone was also very impressed with the children’s singing and musicality. Blue Class also produced a dance from ‘The Snowman’ in their PE lessons which you can see in the video below.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to join us this morning. A huge thank you to Ms Balhadere. Mrs Vethakkan and Ms Afflick for all your hard work preparing the children for their assembly.
Well done to all the children in Blue Class for a confident performance. I was particularly impressed with the way you all worked as a team. What a joyous way to start the day!
