This week, learning looked a little different from usual as our classes worked hard to start their own businesses for Enterprise Week. With a £50 budget per class, children were challenged to come up with a product they could sell at our first ever Enterprise Fair with the aim of making the most possible profit. They budgeted, planned and advertised to ensure they got the best return possible for their investment.
There was a fantastic range of goods and games on offer at the fair, from handmade friendship bracelets and Mexican-style weaving, to tasty treats like bubble tea, sweets and ice cream. Children were even able to get their own back on the Year 1 teachers by soaking them with water! Attendees were also treated to a wonderful performance by our choir.
The Enterprise Fair was a huge success and really well-attended by our families. We are so grateful for all the support! Each class was able to make a profit, which they will choose how to spend. Enterprise Week was an enjoyable way to learn within a real-life context and our children and staff were highly motivated to make it a success. Well done!
