On Monday 3rd March, Brigstock opened its doors to children and staff dressed up in their favourite book character or in their favourite pyjamas and onesies, to celebrate ‘World Book Day’. Everyone looked great! Well done. There are a few photographs below.
We kick started the day with a visit from the story teller Kevin Graal. He engaged the children with every word and made us laugh out loud. In then undertook a workshop with every class.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day!
Children will be coming home with their very own WBD book this week to continue ‘the love of reading’ at home.
