The last year has taught us not to take for granted the simple joy of hearing laughter along our corridors, the pounding of feet across our playground and the sight of 30 children all in one room!
Talking to staff, children and parents this week it was clear just how important being back in the school building was to our school community. However, it was also lovely to hear all the positive feedback from parents in regards to the online home learning provision of the past eight weeks. We were very proud to be able to loan one quarter of our children a school device and were rewarded with 95% daily online attendance.
The rainbow assembly today was very much a celebration of how well children had settled back into school routines and their learning and how proud all the staff were of the children.
Again, it was fantastic to see everyone back in their seats and eager to learn.
