This half term, the children in Atwood Reception classes have been looking at the topic, ‘Watch out!

This week at Atwood, Reception have been engaged in lots of Christmas activities.
Atwood Artists Mrs McWhinnie leads a band of enthusiastic artists each week and as we enter the last week of the Autumn Term, the children of Art Club have used their Computing Skills to prepare a PowerPoint showcasing their learning in Art Club.
Evie Smail, from 3M has been busy making Hama Bead Decorations for Smile Train Last week, I received a wonderful email from Evie’s mum about an amazing project Evie has been busy with which is supporting a great cause.
Mr Veale’s welcome As we march towards the winter solstice on 21st December, it has become noticeably colder this week.
Today at Atwood some of our youngest members amazed family and friends with their brilliant Christmas Concert.
Chess Wars Rage at Atwood Chess has been described as the closest that a human can go to war without physically harming anyone!
You may be aware from the media that the UK is seeing a high number of Group A strep cases this year.
Rocksteady Pop Up Concert Over the last few years, Atwood has partnered with Rocksteady Music School who have developed the musical skills of our children so much, that the children wanted to perform in a ‘pop up concert’.
Today at Atwood all of the children in the Early Years enjoyed making lots of Christmas crafts with family and friends.
Mr Veale’s welcome I am really enjoying how the new version of the newsletter is prompting Atwood families to write to me about their child’s achievements.
