Cypress Primary is a vibrant, diverse, highly popular school with a strong community spirit. We place children at the heart of all we do and value the strong relationships we have with our families.
Working with the other schools in the Trust as well as a range of other partners, our high expectations and innovative curriculum make for a well-rounded education.
We offer an ambitious curriculum which is carefully sequenced and inclusive, reflecting the diversity of families in our school community. Our Pegasus values reflect our focus on understanding ourselves as learners, self-respect, respect for others and the importance of fostering empathy.
It is our belief that all children can achieve when learning is broken into small steps. We aim to ensure that they grow in confidence and resilience so that they are not deterred by setbacks along the way but grow stronger because of them. Learning behaviours are made explicit through all our subject teaching and offer children a wide range of rich opportunities to develop their individual skills and talents outside the classroom. We take pride in developing ‘lifelong learners’ – children leave Cypress with an inquisitive and well-informed mind, a desire to engage with the world around them and an ability to make a positive contribution to the wider world.
