Harvest time at EPS
This week we’ve been thinking about Harvest and have had a busy week of learning and celebrating.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

This week we’ve been thinking about Harvest and have had a busy week of learning and celebrating.
The theme for Black History Month 2024 is ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ and marks a significant shift towards recognising and correcting the narratives of Black history and culture.
A huge thank you to all our families who donated cake and came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning last week – together we raised a whopping £160 for the charity!
Today, the children and staff of Ecclesbourne put their best denim-clad foot forward in support of Jeans for Genes, raising a fantastic £236 for the charity!
Congratulations to our newly-elected Ecclesbourne school councillors. It was wonderful to see how many children put themselves forward for this responsibility – the successful candidates were voted in by their classmates after sharing their views on how they can support the school community.
We were delighted to welcome our new reception children to Ecclesbourne today.
A huge welcome back to all our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children and families – we hope you all had a wonderful summer break.
We are about to kick off the new school year with some fantastic news – thanks to your support and the support of the local community, Ecclesbourne has been awarded the Tesco Stronger Starts grant!
Today we celebrated our lovely Year 6 children and wished them well as they finished their Ecclesbourne journey.
Year 6 wowed the audience with a fantastic performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
This week, learning looked a little different from usual as our classes worked hard to start their own businesses for Enterprise Week.
Djembe Kings hosted a special guest at today’s session as they were reunited with Mr Spoerer!
Year 5 has been very busy preparing for Enterprise Week, with children working in strategic teams to ensure smooth planning and execution.
Year 6 is busy preparing for Enterprise week and this morning saw them working industriously to prepare their products for sale.
Last week, our reception children enjoyed another session of forest school outdoor learning.
