Our Nursery is a wonderful place for your child to start their education.
Every 3-4 year old is entitled to 15 hours nursery education. At Ecclesbourne Primary School, this is offered as 3 hours per day. These 15 hours will be made up as either 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions. The morning sessions run from 8.30-11.30am and the afternoon sessions run from 12.15-3.15pm. We do not offer a mix and match approach; you have to choose 5 morning or 5 afternoons. We will always aim to give you your first choice, subject to availability.
As you may know, some families may be eligible for 30 hours free childcare. At Ecclesbourne Primary School, this is offered as 5 full days from 8.45-3.15pm with a top up charge to cover the lunch period from 11.30-12.15pm. This lunch cover is charged at £12.50 per week.

We also offer top up sessions to enable the children to access care from 7.30am-6.00pm if required.
Top up sessions from September 2022:
– Breakfast Club
This starts from 7.30am until the start of the school day. This is charged at £4.50 and can be booked up to 24 hours before.
– Afterschool Club
This is from the end of the day until 6pm. This is charged at £12.00 per day and can be booked up to 24 hours before.
– Full time places
If you child is entitled to 15 hours and you would like to top up to 30 hours a week this is charged at £100 a week. Breakfast club and after school club can be added on as required.
