Whitehorse Manor Schools – Brigstock site was built by Willmott Dixon to a standard Sunesis ‘Dewey’ design adapted to fit the site.

It is a one form entry annex of the popular Whitehorse Manor Schools and is designed to accommodate 210 pupils across the primary age range.

The school was built by Croydon Council in response to unprecedented demand for primary places and the land and buildings are leased to The Pegasus Academy Trust on a 125 year lease.

The site was previously occupied by a local authority old people’s home.  Construction took place between September 2013 and September 2014 with most of the work being completed in 10 months as many of the parts were prefabricated in Northern Ireland.

The site accepted its first pupils on 3rd September 2014.
