Yesterday, Year 6 had an online talk with the Author Matt Goodfellow. He talked about the freedom that poetry can bring as you become a ‘rebel writer’. It was wonderful to give the children the oportunity to play with writing and construct their own poems.
The children said this of their experience:
‘I learnt you can express yourself however you want’
‘I learnt that music is poetry’
‘Poetry isn’t restrictive’
