Last week, the children at EPS had the chance to rock out when KS2 held a times table competition hosted by our times tables app, Times Tables Rock Stars.
Over two days, pupils had the opportunity to compete with children in other classes answering times tables questions. They gained a point for their class for every correct answer on any times table and at any level. It was a fiercely fought tournament but, after two days of competition, the results were as follows:
1st place – Mars class – 2,614 points
2nd place – Jupiter class – 1,895 points
3rd place – Comets class – 1,685 points
Congratulations to Mars class, who won a class party, and well done to everyone for taking part. A special mention must go to to Aradhana from Saturn class who was the highest scoring pupil in the competition clocking up an amazing 7,276 points – an average of 61 correct answers per minute!
