This term Little Ecclesbourne is learning all about traditional tales by acting out stories and learning accompanying songs. So far the children have enjoyed making gingerbread men by combining the ingredients. They also discovered where the gingerbread man has been hiding in the outdoor space. Next, they learnt all about the Three Little Pigs and tested the materials they chose to build their houses with. It was so much fun huffing and puffing to blow down their buildings. In maths, we have been learning to compare more and less by using groups of our favourite toys. As a new challenge, every child is now trying to form the letters in their name by drawing patterns and copying their name card. They also love taking a book home each week to read with their families.
