Our recently-formed PTA got off to a flying start with their very first event – the Winter Fayre. The fayre was a huge success and highlighted what a wonderful community we have at Ecclesbourne.
The event was very well-attended, with so many of our children and families enjoying a lovely evening filled with games, raffles, refreshments and festive cheer.
Our wonderful PTA showcased their many talents including face painting, balloon animals, crafted gifts and music (to name just a few), plus we were even visited by Father Christmas and one of his elves! There really was something for everyone with a great range of activities to choose from as well as opportunities for a bit of Christmas shopping. Alongside the fun and games, the choir kept everyone entertained and there were also some enthusiastic karaoke performances.
The event was a roaring success and we would like to thank the PTA for all their hard work in organising and putting on the fayre. Thank you to our families who enjoyed the evening and raised a whopping £1,770 for the PTA fund!
