Today Little Ecclesbourne welcomed some feathery visitors and asked lots of questions to find out even more about the owls and hawk. The children were transfixed by their feathery friends and used their observational skills to describe what they saw. They discovered the age, sex and eating habitats of the birds. The children have used binoculars to spot more wildlife living around Nursery. We have also been learning to count quantities, lining up elephants to show four of each colour, naming green, yellow, blue, purple, orange and red.
