Sports Day for Years 5 and 6 took place on Monday. It was incredibly hot, luckily we were spared the full heat of the sun by some low hanging clouds. The children started off the session with a quick warm up – parents were encouraged to join in and then on to the carousel of activities! Races: long distance and sprint followed, parents races (they were fast!) and then tug of war. Finally, we announced the winners of the Y5/6 Sports Day 2024 – Corinth! A big thanks to Miss Barker and Miss Hassan for organising such a fun morning and special thanks to Zara’s Mum in Sycamore who bought all the children ice lollies! Year 3 and 4 to follow this Monday!
