Children at Little Ecclesbourne have been learning all about farming and building. We read the Three Little Pigs story, using lots of different voices for the characters. The children loved re enacting this fairy tale by using story language and learning a special song. We decided to test the materials each pig chose to build their houses. As we couldn’t invite a wolf along we huffed and puffed using a hairdryer. We voted on which materials we thought would be strongest, making some good scientific predictions. We also decided to make some houses for the pigs using different materials, by painting, sticking and printing.
