A huge welcome back to all of our children and families, and a special welcome to our new starters. It has been so lovely catching up with many of you over the past week and we are delighted to report that all classes have made a brilliant start to the new school year.
Last week, we sent out a letter on Studybugs about our revised behaviour policy in place from this September. This policy has been carefully considered to place the strongest emphasis on encouraging and celebrating the positive behaviour our children demonstrate so well at EPS. When members of our school community display elements of the ‘Terrific Trio’ (kind thoughts; kind words; kind actions), an adult or a classmate may show appreciation for this by writing a note on a Recognition Board. We think that taking a minute to give a ‘shout out’ celebrates the positive behaviour that we want to see and lets children know that their efforts do not go unnoticed.
