A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed a fantastic World Book Week. To promote the week children were given book tokens to exchange for a free book. Miss Vadhia kindly arranged for all the junior classes to visit Waterstones in Croydon so that the children could explore a book shop and then choose and collect their free book.
This week as I have been visiting classes I have noticed lots of children still enjoying these books and it was only then that I realised that I had not shared the children’s adventures at Waterstones.
It was lovely to see the children immersing themselves in books during their visit. Waterstones were very kind and not only did the children receive their WBD book but a goody bag!
