We arrived at Nursery on Monday morning last week to find that someone had left some floury footprints on the carpet! We had lots of interesting ideas of who we thought it might have been but after some investigation we discovered it was The Gingerbread Man! We have enjoyed reading the story and joining in with the actions and words and we decided to make some of our own Gingerbread Men. We all had a turn at mixing, cutting and rolling! We observed how the ingredients changed in the oven and loved the smell of our classroom afterwards. We especially enjoyed eating them when we got home!
