We had a special visitor to Nursery and Reception last week. Ugne is a dental nurse who came to speak to the children about the importance of healthy food choices and oral hygiene. The children all watched a puppet show and learned how to brush their teeth properly. Ugne also did a parent drop in to answer questions about oral hygiene.
There are three main themes in good dental health:
- Keep sugary and acidic food and drinks to mealtimes
- Brush teeth at least twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste
- Visit the dentist regularly
