Last week, Mathletics (our online maths programme) held the National Numeracy Challenge – a week long competition where pupils scored points against other pupils in a worldwide competition.
Ecclesbourne’s best mathletes competed in live contests with pupils from as far away as New Zealand, Thailand and America and at the end of the week the points were added up.
Out of a grand total of 1,624 schools EPS came 154th – in the top 10% worldwide!
It was a fantastic effort from all our children and we’re very proud of the result.
Special thanks go to Tomek, Muhammad Ali, Cameron and Anabia in Year 6 for their amazing effort.
